L&R Trail, Lewisburg, WV
The first phase of the West Virginia Division of Highways Recreational Trails Program in Lewisburg follows the right-of-way of the old L&R Railroad. When all phases are finished, the trail will link Lewisburg and Ronceverte, and provide more recreational opportunities for the people of Greenbrier County. The trail winds through a residential neighborhood just outside of downtown Lewisburg; the trail follows the existing contours and was colored to suggest its recreational intent.
